What's matcha?

Matcha is a green tea powder made from shade-grown leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant. It originated in China and was popularized in Japan by a Buddhist monk in the 12th century, where it was used to provide monks with the energy they needed to meditate for many hours. Unlike other green teas, when consuming matcha, you are consuming the entire leaf, so it has much more nutritional properties and flavors.

What's your matcha powder grade?

Our organic matcha is ceremonial-grade and it comes from Uji prefecture in Japan. It goes through many quality assurance steps including radiation testing before being imported.

Is the matcha Heavy Metal tested and Radiation-Free?

2 grams of organic ceremonial-grade Japanese Uji matcha in every can of 355 ml.

How much caffeine in a can of Toro?

Approximately 60mg of caffeine per can, which comes exclusively from matcha. We don’t add caffeine in our drinks.
